I learned how to draw before I learned how to read.

My kindergarten teacher discovered that the delay in my reading abilities was due to my fixation on my artwork; I was too busy drawing to pay attention in class. In the years since I have been a voracious reader, but still maintain time to paint, draw, and sculpt. In my many sketchbooks, my ideas have a place to jump from the chaos in my brain onto paper.

My favorite part of being an artist is my ability to create tiny worlds and stories. I know that when someone opens a sketchbook and flips to a page, they're about to enter a piece of my mind and share an experience with me.

This aptitude translates to my work in design. Any experience with a product, be it physical or digital, is a story. I want to provide creative, beautiful journeys that serve a purpose.
